Double Crane

Leonardo designs this machine to speed up earth moving operations during canal excavations.

It is a huge double-arm crane driven by a single rope that functions on the up-and-down approach: digging teams work on three levels synchronizing their operations.

While one team of diggers filled the bucket at the bottom, another team unloaded the bucket tied to the other end of the rope out of the canal.
