Uffizi Gallery, Florence
One of the most famous museums in the world, thanks to its extraordinary collections of paintings and antique sculptures. The gallery is situated on the top floor of the large building constructed between 1560 and 1580 on plans by Giorgio Vasari to serve as the main administrative offices for the state of Tuscany.

Hermitage Museum, Saint Petersburg

Victoria and Albert Museum, London
The Victoria and Albert Museum is the largest museum of art and design in the world, with a collection that includes some of the most incredible artifacts in history. From 14 September 2006 to January 2007 it will be host to an exhibition on Leonardo’s projects and experiments.

The Metropolitan Museum of Art
Has two works by Leonardo in its permanent collection: a Head of the Virgin (1508-1512) and a manuscript dating from 1480–1485 with designs for a Nativity or an Adoration of the Christ Child.





  Czartoryski Museum, Krakow
The Czartoryski Museum was founded in 1796 by Princess Izabela Czartoryska for the conservation of Poland’s national heritage. In 1798, Prince Adam Jerzy Czartoryski, Izabela’s son, journeyed to Italy and bought the "Lady with the Ermine" by Leonardo da Vinci.
